Spay Maine / Help Fix ME!

A low income spay/neuter program for dogs and cats. Offered by the State of Maine Animal Welfare Program. You must be enrolled in either Maine Care, Food Stamps, SSI, SSD or TANF.

The Help Fix ME program asks that you call 1-800-367-1317 or (207) 287-7621 and leave your name and phone number and a volunteer will get back to you.

Humane Society – Waterville Area

If you live in one of the towns that is served by the Humane Society-Waterville Area, inquire at the shelter about their spay/neuter program. They offer $50.00 in assistance for a female cat or dog or $25 for a male dog or cat. This is for surgery only, not vaccines or other medical expenses.  These funds are available through the Dr. Joseph Geisen Spay/Neuter Assistance Fund.
